Heb 8:11-13 KJV
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Ps Jeff’s Special Today: “Idolatry” (giving honor, priority, worship and devotion to other gods: things, jobs, people, etc).
I Corinthians 10:14 is on point: ” Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” 1 John 5:21 is also direct: ” Little children, keep yourselves from idols.” However, being honest with yourself and your Holy Spirit, do you have idols? is any person or family or team or religious denomination your idol? Is there even a residue of something blocking devotion to Almighty God fully ? God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom on that issue.
May you go forward on His path, “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
