Australia Kneels : Week 5 – Day 6

How Can I Worship & Honor Jesus With All My Heart, Mind & Strength – Waiting To Hear And Heed His Voice ???

Chef’s Menu For Today

A Soaking Day – to come aside in the Presence of the Lord

The Psalms often pour out a heart of despair to God, finding resolution. We may feel despised and defiled by people but by facing the Truth of our loving Father’s cleansing we release the shame. It’s replaced with His dignity, won on the Cross for us. Jesus took all defilement upon Himself that we may become the Righteousness of God. Worthy to be His Bride.

I wrote this heart cry song, Save Me Lord in 1999 and found relief and peace singing it. Recorded in one take in my loungeroom on my phone tonight for inclusion in the Prayer Network’s online healing journey preparing the Bride of Christ. We face all and come through shining in His glory.

Save Me Lord

My heart is heavy, Lord.
It groans within my soul
In the deepest part of my heart I long for you

My enemies surround.
They prosper in their deeds
And the righteous suffer loss at evil hands

Save me, Lord from the wickedness of men
Quickly deliver by your hand
Save me, Lord from injustice and defeat
Lead Your people to the Promised Land

You will deliver Your own
According to Your perfect will
You will release those
Who call upon Your Name

STAND FIRM

When troubles overwhelm your day, stand firm
If worries crowd you when you pray, stand firm
As obstacles loom all around, stand firm
Trust in the Lord and stand your ground, stand firm

Enduring solitude of night, stand firm
As darkness shrouds your vision bright, stand firm
As cold encroaches, stealing rest, stand firm
Know you are loved and you are blessed, stand firm

Stand firm in Jesus Christ, His victory won
To God be the glory, Great things He has done

When fear invades your heart or mind, stand firm
Shake off with courage, terror bind, stand firm
His perfect love casts out all fear, stand firm
Let condemnation come not near, stand firm

When worldliness seems right or smart, stand firm
Let nothing else entice your heart, stand firm
The world is passing, soon we’ll see, stand firm
The last is first eternally, stand firm

Stand firm in Jesus Christ , His victory won
To God be the glory, Great things He has done
Worship the Lord our God, Our Saviour, our King
Rest in His open arms, Let go of everything
And stand firm

As scoffers mock your love of God, stand firm
Our Lord was mocked and gave His blood, stand firm
And when you are misunderstood, stand firm
Repay their evil with His good, stand firm

Let no injustice steal your peace, stand firm
Commit to Him, it soon will cease, stand firm
The evil of this world will pass, stand firm
And all will be made whole at last! Stand firm!

Stand firm in Jesus Christ , His victory won
To God be the glory, Great things He has done
Worship the Lord our God, Our Saviour, our King
Rest in His open arms, Let go of everything
And stand firm

No burden is too big for Him, No trouble too small
Give every care to Him, He carries them all

Worship the Lord our God, Our Saviour, our King
Rest in His open arms, Let go of everything
And stand firm
Stand firm

To be defiled is to be robbed of innocence and purity.

By Sharon Jane….

To be defiled is to be robbed of innocence and purity. Yet our value is not determined by appearances or opinions or even our wounds. The power of the Gospel is not limited by how damaged we are. God looks on the heart. And He restores the years the locust has eaten. His Holy Spirit cleanses us and brings us to holiness no matter what has been done to us.

I know a beautiful Christian sister who was once a call girl. And now after radically following Jesus for about a decade has had her virginity supernaturally restored! That’s the power of Jesus! And we live to the praise of His glory!

He turns things around so that God may be glorified, showing His restoring nature, the power to cleanse and heal. And the miracle of forgiveness flowing to those who polluted us. Now setting them free. And walking free ourselves.

The next song written in 2023 from one who knows hope from what looks futile. We see our eternal destiny…to praise God forever! And we know we can live to the praise of His glory even when our lives feel far from it. We enter in by faith. We receive the acceptance He offers unconditionally in Christ. And He turns what was meant for evil into something to glorify God and so in the end for our good.

I Live To The Praise Of Your Glory By Sharon Jane Sometimes are hard Sometimes are sad Sometimes are just tragic I just can’t understand But You are still with me And You are my strength And You are my fortress I’m held in Your hand I live to the praise of Your glory I live to the praise of Your glory x2 To You is all honour To You all the praise To You all the glory, Wisdom and thanks For Yours is the Kingdom And Yours is the splendour And Yours all the power Dominion and strength We live to the praise of Your glory We live to the praise of Your glory (Come on and sing it again) We live to the praise of Your glory We live to the praise of Your glory (c) Sharon Jane, 2023 LivingStream.net

Our Worship Song for the Week:

Notice how God’s Love Overcomes Defilement

New Wine

By Hill Song

In the crushing
In the pressing
You are making new wine
In the soil
I now surrender
You are breaking new ground

So I yield to You into Your careful hand
When I trust You I don’t need to understand

Make me Your vessel
Make me an offering
Make me whatever You want me to be
I came here with nothing
But all You have given me
Jesus bring new wine out of me

In the crushing
In the pressing
You are making new wine
In the soil
I now surrender
You are breaking new ground
You are breaking new ground

So, make me Your vessel
Make me an offering
Make me whatever
You want me to be
I came here with nothing
But all You have given me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me

Jesus, bring new wine out of me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me

‘Cause where there is new wine
There is new power
There is new freedom
And the Kingdom is here
I lay down my old flames
To carry Your new fire today

‘Cause where there is new wine
There is new power
There is new freedom
And the Kingdom is here
I lay down my old flames
To carry Your new fire today

So, make me Your vessel
Make me an offering
Make me whatever You want me to be
God, I came here with nothing
But all You have given me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me

Jesus, bring new wine out of me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me

Make me Your vessel
Make me an offering
Make me whatever You want me to be
I came here with nothing
But all You have given me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me
Sing that again, like me

Make me Your vessel
Make me an offering
Make me whatever You want me to be
God, I came here with nothing
But all You have given me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me

Jesus, bring new wine out of me
Oh, Jesus, bring new wine out of me, oh Jesus
Jesus, bring new wine out of me (it means we’re getting back on the altar)
We’re saying we surrender everything, Lord
Bring new wine out of me, Jesus
Jesus, bring new wine (keep going) out of me (Jesus)
Jesus, bring new wine out of me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me

‘Cause where there is new wine
There is new power
There is new freedom
And the Kingdom is here
I lay down my old flames
To carry Your new fire today
Where there is new wine

‘Cause where there is new wine
There is new power
There is new freedom
And the Kingdom is here
I lay down my old flames
To carry Your new fire today

So, I say make me Your vessel
Make me an offering
Make me whatever You want me to be
I came here with nothing
But all You have given me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me, Jesus

Jesus, bring new wine out of me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me

Pastor Jeff’s Special Today:  “Focusing on self instead of others.”

You and I are to turn from self focus, and the failure to reach out to others…repenting if this is an issue. True conversion and repentance into Yeshua/Jesus’ Kingdom allows the Lord to bestow on a believer His indwelling Holy Spirit. You become a new creation, now focusing on others with His fruits of the Spirit, the first of which is love.

James 3: 13-18 is on point: Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

Being candid with yourself and the Holy Spirit, is focusing on self instead of others an old issue needing to be confessed? And then repented of ? Do you think His Word is only for the disciples 2,000 years ago? Do you have any residue of a residue of self focus as an issue for such a time as this? Was it connected to your upbringing as a child? Was it a family pattern in any way?

God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom and Comfort on this issue. May you go forward on His path, “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
