Spiritual Beliefs – I’m not protected, I can’t trust or yield to God. I can’t get close to God or people, God is unpredictable, inconsistent, angry, wrathful, condemning, terrifying, harsh, insensitive, punitive, legalistic, unloving, critical and judgemental of me; I don’t measure up.
Soul Beliefs – I can’t trust or rest, I’m not safe, I’ll get hurt, I’m unprotected -alarm, worry, under abusive threat, bitter root expectation of repetition of evil assault, terror of attack, dread of pain and mental torment or physical hurt. Feel I’m not good enough, I need support, someone else more able to hide behind. Feel like Pavlov’s dog…nothing predictable
Soul Sense – I need to be hypervigilant, I’m vulnerable and can be hurt and violated, fear of death, distrust of people’s motives, I can’t rely on anyone to be consistent or to care for me for my sake unconditionally rather than for their own gain. I don’t know who is safe to be honest with, communicate with, or be attached to; over burdened by so many evil things
Symptoms socially – Got to be in control, alert and hypervigilant, power games, waiting for the worst with negative expectation and anticipation, defensive, seeking false securities, wrong marriages, false optimism in finances, and distorted understanding of relationships, use of drugs and alcohol to dull the deep inner pain, others not acknowledging hurt/ need
Emotion Focus – Volatile, self-destructive, addictive cycles, costly manipulative relationships, often blind to betrayers. Trying to repair a breech in own strength and on own terms, on own behalf because – believe God doesn’t care – there’s an irreparable weakness or problem in me, so I’m ‘unloveable’ and it’s not safe to love or be loved or known – overwhelming, traumatic deep grief of unresolved memories, unmet hopes, dreams and disappointments

Expels the Lies of Insecurity that Blind & Block us seeing the Revelation of the heart of our:
- True Heavenly Father, who expresses His compassion towards His people Israel in uncertain times and circumstances as He also cares for, provides for and guides us:
Isa 46:3-4
“Listen to Me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel,

4 Even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will carry you!
I have done it, and I will bear you; and I will carry you and I will save you.” Also, in Isa 43:1-5:
But now, this is what the Lord says, He who is your Creator, Jacob,
And He who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are Mine!
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.
3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you.

We find our deepest security in Jesus’ love as He said:
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me…..9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. John 15: 4, 9-10
Jesus spoke to His Disciples;
33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
As we love Jesus and seek Him, John writes:
27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 1 Jn 2:27
1 Peter 3:11 understood: Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.
The Apostle Paul commended people who needed peace and wisdom to Meditate on These Things:
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Phil 4:6-9
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Col 3:15
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Rom 12:18
17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Rom 14:17
Paul clarifies the blessing promised by God for those who live with the Spirit of God in their hearts
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:18
11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Cor 13:11
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thes 3:16
3 years ago I had a vision of the Bride and Jesus reaching out His hand to lift her upwards. She took His hand as she knew she belonged to Him but she was hesitant to move forward with Him as she feared the unknown even though she wanted to go. Rather than forcing her by pulling or controlling her, Jesus placed His hand around hers and just HELD her hand with love and patience. As He kept holding her hand firmly she began to be flooded with the security of His love and His presence. She began to melt (in a very good way) and Holy Spirit began to at first trickle and slowly flood her, strengthening her within. She became empowered by her connection with Jesus Christ, her love. The annointing brought REST to her spirit. And Jesus just kept holding her hand and loving her and waiting.
Let us Rest in Jesus, fully knowing our identity in Him. We are His Bride, His Body, filled with His life and His destiny.

Ps Jeff’s Special Today: “Covenant Breaking/Disloyalty”
The Risen Christ already sees us as His Bride. He will sanctify and cleanse us by the washing of water by the word (Ephesians 5:26, the sword of the Spirit ). As each lying stronghold is demolished, replace forever the old lie with the word of God. Be washed in HIS Truth. In that repentance and cleansing process, the Lord is presenting us to Himself, “a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:27). He is the soon-coming Bridegroom (Matthew 24:36-51; Matthew 25:1-13; Revelation 19:7-9).
Today’s issue is “covenant breaking/disloyalty.” Much of the current “church” has not honored fully His Covenant. Much of it is awash in this erroneous, perverted, man’s tradition and pride: “I’m in charge” thinking. Almighty God speaks in Exodus 20:2-3:” I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me. “
Both Proverbs 14:12 and Proverbs 16:25 confirm a powerful Truth: ” There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.“ 2 Timothy 3:1-5 is also on point: ” But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!“
Instead, you and I are to turn to the Lord and all that He performed and continues to perform for each of us, in humble thankfulness honoring of His Covenant. Let your life be a daily expression of worship of Him. Think and act God’s Way every day. Romans 12: 1 is on point: “ I beseech, you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.“
Being candid with yourself and the Holy Spirit, is any remnant of this old pattern still present ? an old issue needing to be confessed? And then repented of ? Do you think His Word is only for the disciples 2,000 years ago? Do you have any residue of a residue of disloyalty/breaking of covenant/rebelliousness, as an issue for such a time as this? Was it connected to your upbringing as a child? Was it a family pattern in any way?
God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom on that issue.
