Australia Kneels : Week 5 – Day 2

How Do I Receive God’s Promises?

Chef’s Menu For Today

Dr Hilary Moroney – Canberra House of Prayer

As we consider the challenges and the temptations that King David had to face, and what his family life has been, we see a long line of defilement running through his family, causing lots of heartache and embarressment for the King.

But God has come and brought healing to David, and even gave him a promise of his son that will be next on the throne, and also that the Messiah will one day also come from his linage.

Let’s listen now how God can bring healing, forgiveness and restoration also in your life today, even if you have been through a time of rejection and maybe even experienced defilement in your life.

We thank Jenny and her team @ 1Way FM for faithfully bringing us these Podcasts every week.

Why not read 2 Samuel chapters 7 and 11 to 15, as well as Psalm 51 now for yourself, and journal any new insights you discover…

Ps Jeff’s Special Today: “Unforgiveness”

I first want to share a praise report:

Thank you for these daily emails, I so look forward to them! I especially love how you have focused on the thoughts/mind in breaking these strongholds because I truly believe our spiritual battles are for TRUTH—not physical territory—like I had believed for years. Although I still believe the enemy may hold certain physical areas “captive” it’s only because the ppl there are ignorant of what God’s Word says and we must pray the Holy Spirit will penetrate their minds and hearts to be exposed to reading the Scriptures. Our weapons truly are God’s Word. Thank you AGAIN, Jeff!

Cathy

I believe the woman above is filled with joy having just destroyed, with the Helper Holy Spirit, an old lie of the enemy, a stronghold. She then replaced that old lie with the Truth of God’s Word, and is now in His Kingdom, having received the indwelling Holy Spirit. The lie had blocked for years the fullness of God’s love towards her.

Today, the stronghold to “chew– to dine on” [Revelation 3:20] with the Holy Spirit, our Teacher, is unforgiveness.

Jesus/Yeshua could not be more clear: for your heavenly Father to forgive you of your sins, you have to forgive all others: For if you forgive men their trespasses your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6: 14,15; also Matthew 18: 21-35, the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant.

Being candid with yourself and the Holy Spirit, is any remnant of unforgiveness an old issue needing to be confessed? And then repented of ? Do you think His Word is only for the disciples 2,000 years ago? Do you have any residue of a residue of unforgiveness as an issue for such a time as this? Was it connected to your upbringing as a child? Was it a family pattern in any way?

God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom on this vital issue. May you go forward on His path, “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” (2 Corinthians 7:1).

Bible Verse of the Day

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
