Sabbath – a Time of Worshipping the Father and our Lord Jesus through His Spirit of Truth, Leading us to a Place of Resting in His Presence.
The Garden Catalogue For Today
COME AWAY !
There’s an urgency to prepare for Jesus as His Bride. The Holy Spirit refines us but we surrender in this process to the discipline and character building He does in us. It’s a beautiful place of rest in Him. Yet there is much activity. And often the process is testing. The glory of the Lord is shown in us more and more as we grow in Christ. It’s a walk of maturity. True discipleship. And it’s hiding ourselves in His love all the while.
Come Away was written in the wrestling for me in 2014. I have been through a few decades of refinement through hardship and I praise God for it!
Glory to God!
This recording made in my lounge room for this program (2024).
Come Away:
Set your life apart
Come away from the world that deceives you
Come establish your heart
Run away from the things that so easily lead you astray
Come away, Come away, Come away, Come away,
Come away, Come away, Come away
And know I the Lord satisfy every need
Every need you could know
I already answered your heart
And set your life apart
Don’t you fall for the lie
Don’t you know that I made you in order to save you
Don’t try to deny
Your Creator who’s worthy of all of your praises each day
Come away, Come away, Come away, Come away,
Come away, Come away, Come away
You know I the Lord satisfy every need
Every need you could know
I already answered your heart
And set your life apart
Come away…
WELLSPRINGS (Isaiah 35)
Wellsprings of life springing from desert sand
Flowing over the land
Bringing life from His hand
Wellsprings of life springing from desert sand
Flowing over the land
Bringing life from His hand
The Lord is faithful
Faithful in all of His wonderful ways
Guarding us all our days
He will save, He will save
He will hide His own in the Rock of Salvation
The ransomed shall return
Walking the Highway of Holiness
Full of joyfulness
We will sing for joy, we will sing
Everlasting gladness
will crown our heads when we sing
Everlasting gladness
will crown our heads when we sing
Oh sing, oh sing, oh sing
Everlasting gladness
will crown our heads when we sing

KNOW MY HEART
As we are being prepared as His Bride we are called by God to tuck away with Him and know Him intimately. He prepares us with His love. As we relax in His love we are adorned with honour. His grace is poured out upon us.
This song was begun in 2023 but it felt incomplete. Then Hilary from Canberra House of Prayer asked me to contribute creative content for the Prayer Network so the Holy Spirit stirred me to complete it as the words are very apt. Recorded today in my lounge room. I pray it blesses you as you rest in His love for you and are changed in the process.

KNOW MY HEART
Come oh My Bride to the desert
Come be refined by my love
Come turn aside from your old life
Walking alone with your God
Know My heart for you My darling
Know My love for you, it’s overflowing
Know My heart for you My darling
Know My love for you, it’s overflowing
Come be refreshed oh My sweet one
Come walk with Me in My garden
Come and be blessed every morning
With Me, with Me
Come and enjoy Me My lovely
Come and receive all My goodness
Come and be filled every evening
With Me, with Me
Know My heart for you My darling
Know My love for you, it’s overflowing
Know My heart for you My darling
Know My love for you, it’s overflowing
The enemy has already suffered defeat !
By Sharon Jane
The same word translated “Gospel” in our Bible is used in the historical account of the original marathon runner. He ran to tell those fighting that the battle had already been won. So those still believing they were needing to win the war could know they were already victors! The war was already won.
Jesus has already defeated the enemy so our job is to stand in His authority and declare that. It is a real battle but that battle is actually legally won. Just like the original meaning of the word translated “Gospel”… It’s the message we bring to the people to let them know that the enemy has already suffered defeat. And now they know that they do not have to worry or despair anymore. They already have the victory!
We now have the job to declare Christ’s all sufficient victory over the works of darkness. Darkness must flee in Jesus’ Name. When we know our place in Him and we wear His righteousness and all the other bits of armour, we are able to stand our ground and declare Christ’s Lordship.
Much harder is dealing with our own will. But thank God He has already broken the power of sin on the cross as well and we are now able to surrender our will to God. So now we need not fear ourselves or being good enough or perfect enough to stand. Jesus standing in us is enough. He is faithful to complete all the work begun in us and calls us into declaring His finished work NOW!
Our Worship Song for the Week:
Above AllPs Jeff’s Special Today: “Failure to be an example to the flock.”
The word of God clearly speaks on this: Shepherds-pastors and priests in His church, and any other person in a position of leadership- are to be an example to the flock, to model His holiness; they are to “bear fruit worthy of repentance“ (Matthew 3:8). Judgment begins in the house of God. (1 Peter 4:17).
And, to show our love of Jesus to Him, you and I, as disciples today of Jesus Christ, like Peter, are called to “Feed My lambs” and “Tend My sheep” and “Feed My sheep.” (John 21:15-17).
This is reinforced again in Acts 20: 28:” Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”
Ephesians 4: 11-16 is a powerful teaching on being an example to the flock: ” And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect [ spiritually mature] man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.“
Being candid with yourself and the Holy Spirit, have you failed to be an example to the flock? Do you think His Word is only for the disciples thousands of years ago? Did you mix stale religious tradition or man’s thinking as you led others ? Do you have any residue of this issue for such a time as this? Was it connected to your upbringing as a child? As a ministry student ? Was it a family pattern in any way? ?
God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom and Comfort on this issue. May you go forward on His path, “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
