Australia Kneels : Week 3 – Day 3

Working with the Lord in Removing the Blockages in my Heart + Mindsets of Wrong Beliefs

The Garden Catalogue For Today

I AM STATEMENT FOR THE WEEK:

I AM The Good Shepherd and I know My sheep, and am known by My own (John 10:11,14,27)

What was Christ’s Victory won at the cross?

To Raise us up to be seated with Christ as His Ekklesia Eph 2:6

Another of the 6 core things Christ accomplished by His death on the cross was:  The Removal of God’s Wrath.

Referring to: Matt Perman – the 6 things Christ Accomplished at His Death

Propitiation
Whereas expiation refers to the removal of our sins, propitiation refers to the removal of God’s wrath.

By dying in our place for our sins, Christ removed the wrath of God that we justly deserved. In fact, it goes even further: a propitiation is not simply a sacrifice that removes wrath, but a sacrifice that removes wrath and turns it into favour. (Note: a propitiation does not turn wrath into love — God already loved us fully, which is the reason he sent Christ to die; it turns his wrath into favour so that his love may realize its purpose of doing good to us every day, in all things, forever, without sacrificing his justice and holiness.)

Several passages speak of Christ’s death as a propitiation for our sins. Romans 3:25-26 says that God “displayed [Christ] publicly as a propitiation in his blood through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because in the forbearance of God he passed over the sins previously committed; for the demonstration of his righteousness at the present time, that he might be just and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.

Likewise, Hebrews 2:17 says that Christ made “propitiation for the sins of the people” and 1 John 4:10 says “in this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Theme for the week:

I have a good Shepherd, who leads me and calls me to be Born Again to enter into His Kingdom. May we decide ‘I have left my old life behind and am seated with Jesus at the right hand of the Father praying from His Word and divine perspective, by His Spirit (not my human ideas.) Eph 4:17-24

God planned from the beginning to bring us not only back home into His family, but to raise us up to live a new life in the spirit where Jesus comes to live His life with in us so we rule and reign with Him for His Kingdom advancement and His will to be done on earth as in heaven as Jesus taught us to pray as we live in His Word and Spirit Jn 14:20- 23 & Gal 2:20

Jesus said I AM the Good Shepherd is calling us to His heart to be set apart
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.
26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”

Jesus the Good Shepherd explained to Nicodemus in John 3: 3-19

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” V 5 “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
13 No  one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Rom  6:1 Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him..

And so we can be seated with Him in heavenly places legislating in the heavens Col 3:1-4

This was David’s response to God, he was a shepherd of sheep – David made GOD his LORD and Shepherd, and object of Praise and worship. May we do so too in our hearts and declare this wonderful Psalm and thank God for what He does for us as our Shepherd as we yield to Him fully spirit, soul and body. I Thes 5:23-24 Jesus is our faithful Shepherd

Before it was Jesus’ time to go to the cross, as the Disciples’ Shepherd He taught them the parable of the Lost Sheep in Matt 18:10-14. He wanted them to understand the compassion He and His Father have towards each sheep that goes astray. The Shepherd goes to rescue that one sheep, even as He demonstrated in the parable of the prodigal son. He knew the disciples would be scattered, that they would abandon Him at His greatest time of need in the Garden of Gethsemane. He also warned Peter that Satan wanted to sift him, that he would deny Jesus at His trials. How moving it would have been for Peter to be restored by Jesus and to be asked, ‘Do you love me?‘ And then commissioned to be a shepherd also, to feed Jesus’ Lambs and sheep and to tend them and nurture them as Jesus had demonstrated to Him. Jn 21

Jesus then taught them about the power and authority He was giving His disciples over their spiritual enemy when they were in agreement with Him, and 2 or 3 are in agreement with each other in Jesus’ Name Mat 18:18-20

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

Jesus had taken His disciples to Caesaria Phillipi Matt in 16:13-19 and asked them ‘Who do you say I AM?

15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church,(true translation EKKLESIA) and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

 . . . . . . .

Jesus was commissioning His Disciples to the call to be His Legislative Assembly (i.e. definition and meaning of the word Ekklesia) of His Kingdom Coming on earth as it is in heaven and increasing out to the nations – the reality to share the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and to live the life of Jesus.

When Peter received the revelation that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God, Jesus commended Him and stated that He would build His Ekklesia on the rock; the revelation of who Jesus is as God….

However, we see Jesus the strong Shepherd not accepting Peter’s false obstruction to His being obedient to His Father. He stood on His commissioning to die for our sins as the Passover sinless Lamb of God. He knew we all like sheep have gone astray (Isa 53: 6). Thus, Jesus speaks of our call to lay down our lives also for Him – And Take Up the Cross and Follow Him !

Matt 16: 22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” 23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

To be Jesus’ Ekklesia we need to understand and count the cost to stand with and in Him for His Glory.

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

In Matt 25:31-46 Jesus the Good Shepherd cautioned about nations that would be “Sheep Nations” when He would come in His Glory and Judge, and which would be rejected as “goat nations”. The criteria are: those nations and governments that stand with Israel and care for His Jewish people or not.

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Let us Discover Who the Father says He is, and how we can relate to Him.

God’s  Orchard – Fruitfulness & the Flourishing Vege patch

By Hilary and C-HOP Team

Welcome to your Discipleship Journey. You are about to embark on an intentional season of healing the wounds of your heart. As you heal, obstacles to intimacy with God will be removed. You will find that not only will you receive healing, but you will also experience a real deepening of your relationship with the Lord. Each week we will look specifically at God’s Word in the light of different issues.

Week 3: The Truth about Worthlessness- ‘The Father Approves of me’

We will be drawing from Thom Gardner’s Book ‘Healing Journey’ p76-93

Check out the Truth of God’s Word below.

We suggest you repeat these Truths aloud, close your eyes & rest a moment in each truth, then speak out loud these scriptures below and rest a moment in each of these truths – repeat them through the week.

In this season, God is the Gardner of our hearts to set us free from the many lies we believed due to our past experiences. In the previous 42-Day Banqueting journey, each week, we explored a particular area of mindsets of Hopelessness that have blocked our capacity to believe in the Goodness and the Truth of who God is.

This week, let us refresh our understanding about the lies of the issue of worthlessness, such as where we have believed “I’m of no value to God or man”. “I’m not loved or wanted”. Please Click Here to  refresh your mind from Part 1 of the 42 Days Banqueting Journey – Week 3 – Day 3

Now, in this 50 days Journey we will invite you to intentionally declare God’s Word into your spirit with His Truths, to replace the lies we’ve believed. In John 8:31-32 “[31] …Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  [32] And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Let us focus on abiding in God’s Word and opening our hearts to receive our Father’s Love towards us as His sons and daughters, to discover how He sees us, and to believe His promises in His Word.

Truth: I am a unique creation of the Father. I am hand made. In all the world there’s no one else like me.

Ps 139:14  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;   your works are wonderful,   I know that full well.

Truth: I am loved and treasured by the Creator of the universe.

Jer 31:3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying; “I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

Truth: I am important and valuable.

Deut 32:10 In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste.
He shielded him and cared for him;   he guarded him as the apple of his eye,

Truth: I am precious and honoured in the eyes of my Father.

Isa 43:4 Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honoured, and I have loved you;

Truth: The Father loves me completely, thoroughly, and perfectly. There’s nothing I can do to add or detract from that love.

Isa 54:10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Truth: My Life has a Purpose

2 Cor 5:19-20 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Truth: The Father celebrates my life! He delights in me.

Zeph 3:17 The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

The 3 Roars

By Diane Spicer

Today we look at Part 2 of the Message by Diane Spicer – which was split into a 3-Part message over 3 days for this week: Day 2, Day 3 & Day 6.

Yesterday we looked at the 1st ROAR: The Roar of Babylon.

So let’s continue now with the 2nd ROAR…andw we trust it will bless you, and give you some great insight into Who’s Voice are we listening to.. ??

.  .  .  .  .  .  .

THE SECOND ROAR IS ANOTHER ROAR THAT can keep us from living authentic kingdom lives.

It is the ROAR OF AN UNHEALED SOUL

“Growing up in New York, my life seemed like a dream. I had a loving Italian-American family, a successful career that took me around the world, and a lifestyle that many envied. But behind the façade of success and glamour, there was a deep emptiness in my soul that threatened to consume me.

You see, I had been sexually abused as a child, and I spent years trying to fill the void with drugs, alcohol, work, and relationships. I used abortion as a means of birth control, and when I finally got married, the pain of three consecutive miscarriages sent me spiralling into despair.

In my book, ‘Unmasked; A Remarkable True Story of Transformation and Redemption‘ I talk about the masks I wore to hide all that was in my soul —the Family Mask, pretending everything was fine when it wasn’t; the Corporate Mask, seeking fulfillment in status, success and material possessions; and the Religious Mask, going through the motions without a true relationship with God – without dying to self and letting His SPIRIT live in and through me!

But no matter how hard I tried to fill the emptiness inside me, nothing worked. It wasn’t until I encountered Jesus and was baptized in the Holy Spirit that my SPIRIT CAME ALIVE, AND I found true healing and transformation.

It was strange because instead of sending me out to some foreign country as a missionary (which is what I thought every Christian did), He sent me first right into my own soul.

Jesus died for me, and I was saved, but my soul… oh my soul—the seat of my emotions, thoughts, attitudes, and desires—was roaring LOUDLY! It led me into destructive patterns of behaviour, speech, and addictions.

Truth is, we don’t have to be ruled by our emotions or past experiences. We can choose… to allow God to take us on the journey of painfully exposing our rebellion, hurts, habits, hangups and heartaches, healing our wounds and transforming us BACK into the image of God that HE INTENDED US TO BE.  After we are saved, the journey to become Christlike begins!

Ephesians 4:22-24 tells us to put off our old selves and be renewed in the attitude of our minds.

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24

We must choose to align our thoughts and actions with Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us into wholeness and healing. Don’t ask God to DO for you what HE’s ASKING YOU TO DO!

Salvation is just the beginning of our journey with God. Sanctification or the process talked about in these verses and many others in the New Covenant is a lifelong process of becoming more like Christ and living out the kingdom government.

So, how’s your soul? are you being ruled by your old nature? Are you allowing God to expose and heal your wounds and trauma? Do you carry any unforgiveness? Bitterness?

Are you renewing your mind? Capturing every thought and MAKING it obedient to Christ? Intentionally becoming Christlike as you follow the Spirit’s leading? Growing in spiritual maturity?

Are you choosing to live in the freedom and wholeness that Christ offers in loving Him and loving others? Or are you reacting to people out of your soul OR learning to respond, God’s way, from your Spirit?  THAT IS THE KEY!

Today, I want to encourage you to be honest with yourself and with God.  Have a look behind any masks you might have picked up along the way. Allow Him to transform you from the inside out so that you can live the abundant life that He has promised you.

And remember…. It is a journey — and He’ll guide you — His Word “is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.Psalm 119:105. God loves you and knows your heart/soul much better than you do.  Let Him show you what’s really in there and then let Him redeem and heal you!

It’s ironic, isn’t it? We take our cars to mechanics, our bodies to doctors, our clothes to tailors, broken things to repairmen, our brains to teachers, and our teeth to dentists. But when was the last time you took your soul and spirit for a check-up?

Being made in God’s image, we, too, are made of 3 parts:

  1. body (physical skin, bones, organs, muscles, etc.),
  2. soul or heart (emotions, thoughts, feelings, psyche, personality), and
  3. spirit (inmost part possessing God-consciousness; life or death)

Your physical body is the house; a temple of sorts, for your soul and spirit.

From the inside out, your soul affects your speech, your behaviours, and your relationships. Your soul is also known as your ‘heart’ ‘old nature’ ‘inner child’ and ‘flesh’.

Your spirit affects your eternal destination and your ability to love and receive love.

Doesn’t it make sense for you to care for all three of these parts? To know the differences and ensure they are each functioning well?

The Bible exhorts us, “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:22-23)

The very next verse, however, is the key!

Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24

God will continue to do the work in us IF we are willing, teachable, and available to allow Him to point out that which needs healing and then to be obedient to become Christlike in that area.

If you want to dive deeper into a biblical examination of your body, soul and spirit, I offer a 7-session course that a few of you have done… the feedback has been wonderful.

I put the principles I teach you, into practice myself, and believe me when I say it’s made a huge difference in my life!!  You can find out more on my website, under coaching… or send me an email and I’ll send you the details.

It’s called BODY SOUL SPIRIT ROUNDTABLE – website: https://www.dianespicer.com/roundtablecoaching

Colossians 3:1-17 sums it up – it says, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. [Kingdom authority]

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Therefore, put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.

Character of the New Man

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:1-17

So, tell me, are you aware that this is relevant to you?  Are you intentionally lining up your life to live this way? Are you ready to commit to living each day in the power of the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to lead you into whatever it takes to restore your soul – to make it Christlike?  Are you ready to receive the courage and the boldness to forgive the unforgiveable. Love the unloveable. And to be the most generous loving people on earth! Just like Jesus was!

Let’s decide today, that from now on, when you become aware and hear the ROAR OF MY OWN SOUL screaming…: “What about me?” “Why do I always have to be the one to…. “ “It’s my right.” “I’m afraid… “I ALWAYS….”  “You NEVER…”  “I’m the victim here…”, “Let THEM apologize first!”…. that you will remind yourself that this is the ROAR OF YOUR SOUL…as it won’t be pretty!!  BUT: Resist it with God’s Word.  Respond to it with the love and gentleness of His Spirit within you.

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, my salvation” (Psalm 42:5).

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortressPsalm 46:10,11.

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him” (Psalm 62:5).

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18

Don’t let your soul (old nature) keep you from stepping into your greatest days!

BE STILL O MY SOUL!

As we are exploring the Authority we’ve been given by Jesus as His Ekklesia, let’s find out more about using the Keys of Kingdom…

By Tony McLennan

Discovering the Keys to God’s Kingdom

And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19

Why should you share the Word of Life to others? Successful businessman and author, Ian Tay says in the video above: “At the end of the day, that is the most important thing you can do.” Ian was moved to retire early and now spends his time now helping people to know God and making Him known.

What are the keys to the Kingdom of heaven? How do you use them? He also said “I am the door of the sheep…” (John 10:7) Keys are for opening doors. The keys Jesus gave us help us to show others the way to and through the door of life.

You have been given the keys to the Kingdom to set people free.

The Bible likens people receiving the Word of God to receiving seed that grows one hundred times when someone has received the Word gladly.

You can set your goal to make it happen in your lifetime. You could be a hundred-fold reproducer of life. The changes to the lives around you will last for eternity.

Ps Jeff’s Special Today: “The love of money”

Today’s issue is the spirit of money. I Timothy 6: 7-10 puts money in perspective: For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

Being candid with yourself and the Holy Spirit, is this issue of placing money or mammon first in your life blocking your serving your Almighty Creator today? Is there any remnant of this old pattern needing to be confessed? Do you think this is only applicable to the disciples 2,000 years ago? Do you have any residue of a residue of this issue for such a time as this? Was it connected to your upbringing as a child? Was it a family pattern in any way?

God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom on that issue.

May you go forward on His path, “perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1).
