WISE BRIDES PREPARING FOR THE LORD

Precious saints the truth is today I am seeing an ever increasing sign of worldliness within the church of God today. Yes accommodation and conformity with a wicked and sinful world has become the order of the day in many churches all around the world.

The typical response from such believers who wrestle with the truth in their own hearts often are those that will also say “it is what’s on the inside that matters.”

Precisely so, but the most accurate indicator of the inner composition is what is manifested on the outside. The reflects if the fruit is good or bad. Many of us in the church of God these days are not willing to give up anything for heaven, but rather try to argue to justify their rebellion of keeping permissible.

The Luke warm church of today wants all the benefits of the finished work of the cross without being transformed by the cross.

Many will look today for any way of twisting the scriptures to conform to their rebellion and thus searing ones conscious to feel justified to stay in that rebellion.

Remember wise virgins can never take advice from foolish virgins, just as a wise business person would not take advice from a foolish business person.

May the love of God lead the faithful wise virgins to always fear the Lord and change to the Lords holy standards and not lowering Gods standards to our experience.

Let us choose to fear the Lord and change for the hour is late, otherwise many will find themselves left behind to endure purification (judgment).

Psalm 55:19 “God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have not changed, therefore they fear not God.”

Ephesians 5:11 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.”

1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

The Prodigal Son

The Parable of the Prodigal Son [Luke 15:11-32] speaks to us today to REPENT!

We all fall short of the glory of God and have wasted life like the prodigal son. Once he “came to himself” [verse 17] and realized his mistake [verse 18]he confessed his sin and repented , and the father [our Abba Father] RAN to him, loved on him, blessed him with abundant love.

We too need to confess our sins, return to Him, repenting.

Almighty Father will forgive us and welcome us home to Him!

1Cor 15:12, 20-23

12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

1Co 15:20  But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1Co 15:21  For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1Co 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Our Worship Song for this week:

Thank You Jesus for the Blood
Song by Charity Gayle

I was a wretchI remember who I wasI was lost, I was blindI was running out of time
Sin separatedThe breach was far too wideBut from the far side of the chasmYou held me in your sight
So You made a way
Across the great divideLeft behind Heaven’s throneTo build it here inside
And there at the crossYou paid the debt I owedBroke my chains, freed my soulFor the first time I had hope
Thank you Jesus for the blood appliedThank you Jesus, it has washed me whiteThank you Jesus, You have saved my lifeBrought me from the darkness into glorious light
You took my placeLaid inside my tomb of sinYou were buried for three daysBut then You walked right out again
And now death has no stingAnd life has no endFor I have been transformedBy the blood of the lamb
Thank You Jesus for the blood applied (thank You Jesus)Thank You Jesus, it has washed me whiteThank You Jesus, You have saved my lifeBrought me from the darkness into glorious light
There is nothing strongerThan the wonder working power of the bloodThe bloodThat calls us sons and daughtersWe are ransomed by our FatherThrough the bloodThe blood
There is nothing strongerOf the wonder working power of the bloodThe bloodThat calls us sons and daughtersWe are ransomed by the FatherThrough the bloodThe blood
Thank You Jesus for the blood appliedThank You Jesus, it have washed me whiteThank You Jesus, You have saved my lifeBrought me from the darkness into glorious light
Glory to His nameGlory to His nameThere to my heart was the blood appliedGlory to His name

Ps Jeff’s Special Today: “Failure to Praise Him.”

You and I are to walk in the Light. Jesus could not be more clear:   Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;  for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. (John 12:42-44).

It is time to praise Him even publicly, bringing Psalm 150 alive to Light the darkness! “Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute...” And Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”

Being candid with yourself and the Holy Spirit, is this issue of failing to praise Him something blocking your serving your Almighty Creator? Is there any remnant of this old pattern needing to be confessed? Do you think this is only applicable to the disciples 2,000 years ago? Do you have any residue of a residue of this issue for such a time as this? Was it connected to your upbringing as a child? Was it a family pattern in any way?

God bless you as you seek His Holy Spirit Wisdom and Comfort on this issue. May you go forward on His path, “perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
